3/1: Lew and improved!

Welcome to the new and improved Lew Review! In the past this segment has featured longer-form posts with my thoughts on a particular subject. However, I've decided to start treating it more like a weekly mini-blog of sorts, in which I'll catch you guys up on what I'm working on, what else I'm up to, what I'm watching/listening to, random thoughts, etc. I want it to be a little more fun and conversational. So, without further ado, here's this week's Lew Review!

What I'm Working On
-Last week I re-recorded an old tune of mine that needed some new life (any guess as to which it might be?). 
-I also started laying down guitar for a new folk tune with Jerome. I got some great takes only to find out the metronome in my headphones got picked up by the mic and I had to re-record them 🙃. So I did...

...and then realized that the air purifier in the other room was still on and is audible in certain spots. So I will probably have to re-record those...AGAIN. So that's fun. In the same way that jumping off a bridge is fun.

What I'm Up To
I am eagerly awaiting Spring so I can start being more active and doing things outside. But in the meantime, I am watching a couple of great shows. My wife and I always watch one funny show and one serious show. Here's what we've watched/are watching lately:

-Chernobyl 

• Very informative, cripplingly depressing, and very odd seeing Russian/Ukrainian characters speak with proper English accents

-Atypical 

• Fantastic show about a family with a son who's on the autism spectrum. 

-The Wire 

• Been on my list forever. Only a few episodes in, but definitely enjoying it so far. The cop/legal/gang jargon is a lot to try and follow, but I'm getting there 😆

Anybody watched anything good lately?

Random Thoughts
-I love stupid jokes and came up with one last week that I felt needed to be shared:
I had a very interesting visit with my ophthalmologist last week. It was really eye-opening.If you guys want to unsubscribe now, I understand.

In Conclusion
This week I'll be at it again with recording. I've also recorded some live acoustic videos that I'll be sharing here with my Patrons 😊. Hope you've all enjoyed the new Lew Review. They won't usually be this long and I'll probably mess around with the format, but yeah. Here ya go.
